Data Removal

Capsule stores everything on your device and nothing on our servers. There is no account to delete and no server-side copy of your capsules, notes, photos, videos or recordings.

Delete a single capsule

Open the capsule in the app and choose delete. The capsule and all media attached to it are removed from the device immediately.

Delete everything

Either delete each capsule in the app, or:

1. Uninstall Capsule, or
2. Android Settings → Apps → Capsule → Storage → Clear storage.

Both erase all capsules and media permanently. This cannot be undone, and we cannot restore the content afterwards.

Data held by us

None. We collect no personal data, so there is no account record, profile or backup for us to erase. See the Privacy Policy for detail.

Subscriptions

Deleting the app does not cancel a Capsule Premium subscription. Cancel it in the Google Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Purchase records are held by Google, not by us; requests concerning them go to Google.
